Apple releases Mac OS X security update, Boot Camp 3.1

The world renowned computer manufacturer Apple recently released a security update for its Mac OS X users called the Security Update 2010-001. This update was given to both the users of Mac OS X Leopard as well as the Snow Leopard users.

An issue that was covered on this update was the capability of the CoreAudio application to create a type of MP4 that may allow hackers to take control of the computer. In addition to that, an update was also made on the OS handling of RAW images.

Users that have downloaded and installed Security Update 2010-001 may also find that their Adobe Flash player was updated to the latest version which is 10.0.42. This is to ensure that all Mac OS X users are invulnerable to the flaw codes available at the previous version of Adobe Flash Player.

In addition to that, Boot Camp version 3.1 also allowed for the support of Microsoft Windows 7 operating system may it be the Home Premium, Professional or the Ultimate version of the operating system.
