Technical upgrades on the new Android Froyo
Froyo is the new name for Android’s newest version which is the 2.2. It is to be released soon and will have a lot of additional features that will certainly set Google Android apart from its competitors mainly the iPhone by Apple. The beta version of it has already been released and developers have been testing it a lot.
One of the new features in the Froyo is the Just In Time compiler. This particular new feature is said to drastically improve the speed of the applications in Google Android. Some speculates that programs will run at least twice as fast as before.
Right now, Google Android works just like Linux. Users can upgrade their application should they feel like it with a touch of a button. However, now this particular task is automated. Therefore, there would be no need to do updates repetitively as everything is done by the operating system.
The relationship between Apple and Adobe is not good as Apple is definitely ditching the usage of Flash for its iPad and the iPhone. On the other hand, Google Android will come in with built-in Flash 10.1 support. Couple that with updates on its OpenGL drivers and users will have great looking applications and games on their Google Android based products.
