Dell to enter the tablet market

After the release of the iPad, a lot of other companies have decided to join the bandwagon. One prominent company at doing so is one of the largest computer manufacturing company Dell. Information was leaked to Engadget earlier giving out the technical specification and details about its new product called the Looking Glass.

The 7-inch tablet will be powered by the Google Android operating system while featuring a WVGA screen. Like most touch screen devices today, Looking Glass will have a capacitive screen much like the iPad itself.

Previously, Dell has also given out information saying that it will create a product called the Streak. This is a 5-inch tablet powered by the 1Ghz SnapDragon processor that was used in the Nexus One. The Streak will also have a 5MP camera.

Looking Glass on the other hand will only have a 1.3MP camera. We think that it would be better if it would sport a higher resolution camera much like the Streak. It is also powered with the nVidia Tegra T20 processor which will soon be one of the best mobile processors in the world.
